Description:

This project is a two-bridge bundle for the replacement of one structure and the preservation of another during a single year using staged construction in Franklin County as follows: The lead project is the replacement of a single span concrete arch over Falling Spring Branch with a composite prestressed concrete adjacent plank beam bridge, minor approach paving, minor drainage improvements, utility relocations, and other miscellaneous construction, all as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 0011, SECTION 094, in FRANKLIN COUNTY, CHAMBERSBURG BOROUGH, from Segment 0341 Offset 1885 to Segment 0341 Offset 2785, for an overall project length of 800.00 linear feet (0.152 mile). The subordinate project is the preservation of a single span prestressed I-beam bridge over Conococheague Creek including minor approach paving and other miscellaneous construction, all as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 0030, SECTION 118, in FRANKLIN COUNTY, CHAMBERSBURG BOROUGH, from Segment 0381 Offset 0317 to Segment 0381 Offset 1067, for an overall project length of 650.00 linear feet (0.123 mile).
