Summary:

The course will cover the inspector’s daily documentation responsibilities, including the purpose of documentation and the relationship of various contract documents and references to the source documents. The course will provide the attendee with an understanding of the general reporting guidelines and minimum report requirements for the Project Site Activity (PSA) and Field Inspector’s Diary (FID). These minimum report requirements are applicable to almost any construction operation. Unique or specific documentation requirements will be presented for the following operations: Clearing and Grubbing, Excavation, Drainage, Subbase, Bituminous Pavement, Concrete, Structures, Pile Driving, MPT, and a limited number of incidental construction operations. |
