Summary:

This training builds on the knowledge gained from the SCM Visual Screening Inspection Training and will prepare individuals to complete a detailed assessment of the condition and performance of Department-owned SCMs. Participants will learn the various elements of a condition assessment, including planning and preparing for the condition assessment inspection (CAI), conducting the CAI, documenting observations using standard forms, writing a report with remedial and maintenance recommendations, and submitting documentation. An overview of Post Construction Stormwater Management (PSCM) Plans will also be provided. Training includes a combination of classroom lectures and exercises as well as a mock field inspection. Field-appropriate attire, safety vests and hard hats are required for the mock inspection. |
