The Work Zone Intelligent Transportation System (WZITS) Implementation Tool Version 2.0 implements the logic and methodology described in the FHWA WZITS Implementation Guide.This workshop will familiarize attendees with the WZITS Implementation Guide-established process for making decisions about implementing ITS in work zones by leveraging the interactive WZITS Implementation Tool and encourage the widespread adoption of the systematic process for WZITS decision-making. IMPORTANT: Attendees MUST bring their PennDOT issued laptop computers to this class. This class includes an interactive session using the tool which includes a PennDOT case study. |
