This project provides for the replacement of the existing NB-610 bridge, which consists of a three-span deck truss bridge with a deck I-beam approach span at both ends over Mud Run, with a new steel deck-arch bridge. The project also provides for the replacement of the NB-611 mainline bridge over SR-534, which consists of a 3-span continuous steel girder structure, with a single-span steel girder structure. The project also involves re-aligning and constructing of the approach roadway to the east and maintaining traffic on the existing structure during construction of the new bridge.
There is a 7 % DBE goal on this project. Johnson Bros. Corporation/American Bridge Company encourages all DBE firms to quote the scopes of work they are able and certified to perform.
The bid submittal is scheduled for August 18th, 2021, at 11:00 AM EDT.
Subcontractor/Supplier quotations are due no later than August 16th, 2021 by 5:00pm EDT, unless the bid date is amended by the owner, at which time we will assess new submission date criteria.
Your quote must conform to all requirements of the bid documents, including but not limited to the plans, general provisions, special provisions, specifications, and contract for construction of the owner/agency (including addenda thereto) and be in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
If your firm is awarded the project, you will be required to execute our standard subcontract or material supply agreement, which is available for your review upon request. Subcontractors, dependent on scale of scope, may be required to furnish a conforming certificate of insurance along with payment and performance bonds before entering a subcontract, the cost of which should be included in your quotation. Suppliers, dependent on scale of scope, may be required to furnish a supply bond before entering into an agreement.
