Bidding Opportunity – Clarion County – Trail Paving Bid Date 7/17/20

Rail 66 is announcing its intention to contract with a firm to pave the eight miles of prepared surface from the intersection of Route 66 and the trail in Leeper, Farmington Township Clarion County to the Forest County line.

   The project will feature a tie in with the Farmington Township Park, trailhead areas with handicap access, and paved access from the trail to paved handicap parking at the Farmington Township Park.

All base course, drainage and other work will be performed by Rail 66 volunteers.  Rail 66 will provide a pavement ready surface.

The scope of this contract is for the asphalt paving only. It is anticipated that the paving will occur in the August – September timeframe.

A pre-bid conference will be held on 19 June at 10:00 AM at the Law offices of Greco, Lander & Shekell, P.C.,1390 E. Main Street, Suite 2, P.O. Box 667, Clarion, PA  16214.

There will also be the option to attend via a Zoom conference.  Bids are due July 17^th  at 10:00 AM.  All bids will be delivered to, and opened at, the Law offices of Greco, Lander & Shekell, P.C.,1390 E. Main Street, Suite 2, P.O. Box 667, Clarion, PA  16214.
